Sexual Assault Center of Northeast Georgia
The Sexual Assault Center is having another training for hotline and advocate volunteers! If you are interested in helping us answer our 24-hour hotline, or interested in helping adults, children and their families through the trauma this is a mandatory 12 hour training.
There are three sessions:
Session I: Crisis Counseling
Session II: Answering the Hotline
Session III: Being and Advocate
You need to attend all sessions if you want to answer the hotline and be an advocate. Our hotline operators answer the hotline during non-business hours and our advocates help with forensic interviews and exams during business hours only. You may skip the third session if you are not interested in being an advocate.
